Oreo Swiss Roll

Another recipe for the oreo lover :) With left over oreo cookies from my previous post, I made this swiss roll using the same recipe I baked for Black Glutinous Swiss Roll. I substituted 25gr black glutinous flour with ground oreo (without cream and shifted). I reduced 10gr sugar to 65gr as I think this cookies already has a sweet taste. You may use butter cream or whip cream for the filling.

Extra batter I baked it to small cupcakes.

  8. I've heard black glutinous rice flour. But, have yet to come across one at the bakery supply stores and supermarkets I frequent. I shall keep an eye on the flour each time I go for grocery shopping beginning now. Thanks for sharing your lovely Oreo cakes with us! I'm sure they taste just as good as they look!

Hope to see more work from you. Keep it up!

  13. Hi DG,
Nice creation. Surely my kids will like this.
Btw, it is not difficult to arrange the mango slices as it looks. Just slice thinly & arrange in spiral.
