Colourful Jelly Pudding II

I made this pudding two months ago. However, after uploaded the photos to computer, I change my mind to postpone the post and wait until today. Why? I like this pudding cause it has the X'mas colour, don’t you think so?

I bought pre-mix Red Man’s Konnyaku Jelly package to make colourful jelly ball (made this one day in advance), add white dragon fruits in it and transparent agar-agar used to make the pudding. You may see here for the ingredients and the jelly ball mould pictures.

This jelly pudding will be my second submission to Aspiring Bakers #2: Christmas! (Dec 2010) hosted by Passionate About Baking.

  10. Jess,
Hahahaha … you are so cute, thanks for the comments.

    The Sweetylicious,
Thanks! I love jelly too compare to agar agar :)

    Wendy,
You are right! If you see from the link, initially I’ve got the idea from Happy Flour :) This is actually my second time making this. :)

    Lena,
Thanks for double entries comments :) It’s my fault being so slow on publishing. The mould looks exactly like bundt pan, however in plastic form. However, you may do it in a bundt pan too. You may make all in jelly, instead of mixing agar2x like mine. I'm sure you may enjoy in making this.

    Hearty Bakes, Anncoo & Hanushi,
    Thanks for the wonderful comments.

    Neyeeloh,
What are you waiting for? Start making one soon :)

    Crustabakes,
Thanks! It is also refreshing dessert for the hot weather. :)

  12. So colourful! I'm sure my kids will like it. Yes, I've seen this similar design @ Happy Flour, unfortunately I still can't find the mould for making the small balls.

  13. Thank you, Zoe :)

    Blessed Homemaker,
Yes, try to make for them soon, they definitely will love it. You can get the ball mould from Sun Lik, it's about $2.50 if I not wrong. If you don't have the mould, you can made into several colours using rice bowl, use cookies cutter or cut in cube, then pour it into the big bowl. I believe it will yield the same beauty. Hope to see your soon!

  17. Love2Cook & HomeKreation,
Thanks for the lovely comments too :)

    Tia,
Thanks! I made in layers too. Try to make the colour jelly preferable one day in advance. Cook the transparent jelly/agar2x, let it to cool slightly, then pour 2-3 soup scoop/spoon first in the mould, then add in few colourful jelly. Let it half set, then pour another 2-4 scoops of the transparent jelly, then add in colourful jelly again, let it half set. Do continuously until the mould full.

Incase the jelly is fully set, use a fork to scratch the transparent surface, so the pour the next layer over and allow to set. Hope you try again soon and successfully done.
